Demented and Hilarious JOE FERNANDEZ!

Rated R

Demented and Hilarious JOE FERNANDEZ!

This guy is pretty damn awesome!

It's the 2nd visit for Joe Fernandez, a half-Cuban half-Irish (or Cub-ish) comedian and actor. He grew up in Texas.

After his dreams of playing for the Houston Astros were dashed, he moved to Chicago to pursue a career in comedy.

While at Marquette University, he received the Chris Farley Scholarship for his creativity and positive use of humor. In Chicago, he has become one of the most beloved comics in the scene, peppering his stand-up pursuits with stints on improv teams at world-renowned IO (Improv Olympics) and the Playground Theaters.

He's been described as "cerebral, sardonic and flat-out bizarre," combining low-brow, off-color humor with high-brow references to satirize serious subjects. Joe morphs smart and stupid into his own unique brand of silly comedy. He’s taken his off-stage persona and fused it into his on-stage persona of "lovable jerk and facetious to a fault."
Joe has performed in some of the best comedy festivals, including the Chicago TBS Just For Laughs Fest, the Boston Comedy Fest, the Memphis Comedy fest, and was a finalist for the Andy Kaufman Award. Joe is a regular at many Chicago comedy institutions, including Comedians You Should Know, Zanies and the Laugh Factory. He's been asked to be the opening act for greats like Dave Attell, Jon Lovitz, Natasha Leggero and Harland Williams. His debut comedy album "Ugly" opened at #1 on iTunes. That special and his 2nd special, the first ever filmed at the famed Laugh Factory in Chicago, "Demented," can both be found on YouTube. Watch them. They're great.
Come check out Joe's new material this weekend. It will be a BLAST.
